The table below details Guest OS Customization support in vCenter for various OS releases.
Support Considerations:
- The OS release must also be supported as a Guest OS by the ESX or ESXi host, which can be determined in the VMware Compatibility Guide.
- Unless stated otherwise, all OS variants and 32-bit/64-bit editions are supported.
- Unless specified, all SP, minor or maintenance versions are supported.
